It’s been a busy few months for Rich & for Very Unique Existence. Sorry we haven’t been in touch for so long it’s been a time of huge change and transformation for both Rich and VERY UNIQUE EXISTENCE. There is lots of cool stuff to tell, of new singles, albums, USA tours, solo careers, lineup shifts, life changing concerts and ideas inspirations all of which mean nothing without you and our other our fans and supporters!

We promise you will hear from us at least once a month from now on and that you will not get a letter this big again….

Ok we know how long people have been waiting so here is the good news, yes VERY UNIQUE EXISTENCE will have a new 14 track album ready by the end of this year with a public release set to be Jan 2011. The first single from the Album is the brand new radio version of “Hearts Embrace” recorded and produced by Benjamin Richards & Mixed and Mastered by Paul Gomersall.

Apart from the NEW radio version, it has the first ever live rehearsals room version, a version recorded live in the ICU ward a John Muir Hospital in the USA where Rich worked with Kelly Campbell of Guava Films on a video that included the re-enactment of a drink drive crash and of the songs original purpose being a prayer for Rich’s little brother after he was left on life support in a drink drive crash see video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWjv5upjANg

Very Unique Existence kicked off their “Awareness Shows Tours” early March, and one very special part of the trip was their journey to the top end of Australia to perform for and work with the Aboriginal students from Mornington Island State School please have a look at this awesome adventure it is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=3961EF47FD93D69C

After our recent Tamworth tour, drummer Adam Gardiner has decided to finish up with the band, focusing on his teaching degree & drum tutoring but still playing in a range of bands around the area. He is currently replaced by Shay Henderson, an amazing talent with a passion for the music of Very Unique Existence.

Filling in on too many instruments to name, piano, loops, samples, guitars, percussion is Alex King, who has taken up the mantle from Wes Seewald & adds flavour and depth never before heard in Very Unique Existence show.

As you know Rich is the founding member of Very Unique Existence starting the band back in 2002 as a two piece with Chris Boniface. Over the last year Rich has been also working on material for a Solo Album & recently has started gigging his new material, the first song from his forthcoming solo album is called “Angel” listen here: http://bit.ly/cnMoEl

Recently Rich toured the USA solo launching the educational concert tour program he developed “Awareness Shows” see: http://www.awarenessshows.com the tour was amazing with so many young people being positively impacted by the music and it’s messages, he was involved in the Every 15 Minutes program and looked after by the lovely Hall family whilst in the USA.
